How can I benefit from Hypnosis?
If you want to fully benefit from hypnosis, it is important to keep an open mind.
Rest assured that no one can be hypnotised without their consent and hypnosis does require voluntary participation on the part of the client.
While people often feel that their actions under hypnosis seem to occur without the influence of their will, a hypnotist cannot make the client perform actions that are against their wishes or their morality.
While hypnosis can be used to enhance performance, it cannot make people stronger or more athletic than their existing physical capabilities. However, hypnosis can shift their beliefs about themselves, release existing limitations or blockages for them to enhance their performance and quality of life.
What happens during a hypnosis session?
During a typical hypnotherapy session, the practitioner discusses and agrees with the client on the desired changes they want in their life. After that, the practitioner leads the client safely into a deeply relaxed yet alert state, then guides them into an intimate conversation with their unconscious mind, gives commands or suggestions to their mind to change specific behavioural patterns which will be conducive to future positive and more beneficial results.
Before the end of the session, the practitioner will then guide the client gradually back to their regular conscious state. They will then discuss the experience, including reactions, progress, and insights. The sessions may vary in duration but often lasts for about one to one and a half hours.
Often few sessions are necessary to reach the client’s desired results. The repetition will allow the client to reach each time a deeper and deeper state of hypnosis and lasting results.
